Rolling Stone created an unforgettable moment at the renowned Chicago club, Studio Paris for Lollapalooza 2015. Building on the party’s success - Rolling Stone Live Chicago brought bigger artists, more surprise performances and even more innovative brand activations than ever before.
As part of larger campaigns with Hyundai and Transitions Lenses we created onsite consumer touch points for both brands that were fun and highly engaging. The Hyundai team brought in a full heat press allowing fans to choose from select designs and print t-shirts on the spot. The activation was part of the brand’s larger Grammy Amplifier program - which also included artist, Cramer who opened for the headlining acts.
Cramer warmed up the crowd and next up were Rolling Stone favorites, Marina and the Diamonds. Shortly after, Kygo got everyone’s attention with a special acoustic performance in the middle of the crowd and performed hits with Parson James, Conrad Sewell and James Hersey. Pure magic.
Throughout the party guests enjoyed the Instaprint Photo Activation sponsored by Transitions Lenses.
Last but certainly not least the party turned up to the wild Swedish electronic duo, Galantis. The guys put on a show from the DJ booth complete with confetti and pyrotechnics and their infamous ‘Seafox’ mascot.
Redd’s Apple Ale and Jameson were brought in as exclusive bar sponsors for the event.
